April: Angels in Peril
Greetings,
We must realize that without our participation, without our awareness, this problem will continue to haunt us. There will be questions: what an average citizen can do? And all that can be done is, To Educate. This might look a bit simple or usual, but in actual this is what we need the most. There were times, till a millennia ago, when education was not a dream or mission, but an inherent trait. People were educated enough to be worthy of being civil, I won't say further as I have already said about it in my February Blog; and we will understand why absence of education or wrong education results in disgusted mentality which develops to filthier in absence of family morals or corrupted values aired in the family.
The above para may look a bit weird, but there's a reason behind it, consider the following:

This is the true face of "Public FIGURES", they don't care about emotions and keep going towards completing the agenda, stimulated by political motives mostly. And who is the sufferer, that innocent girl, who died in January and is still waiting for justice. And when I am saying 'Bollywood+liberal+intellectual+media is hypocrite' that is for a reason; how many of us know about the "Ghaziabad" rape case: a case of a 10 year old girl. The reason why it didn't go down well with the 'placard & candle march' class, was because the victim was Hindu and the convict was Muslim and the place of crime was a "Madarsa" along with a Maulvi's guidance. At this point, crime suddenly had no religion, how smooth that is.
And as far as The TRUTH is concerned, the local police & authorities left no stone unturn, to hide it, bury it; so that a ghastly picture of Bharat gets stuck in the minds, in here & everywhere. The recent findings uncover the gory picture of politics and fanaticism in Kathua case:
And if you still think religion was never the point, have a look:
See you next month,
"Rest O my Angel
For the journey thereafter is long
But there's only solace
And you for sure would suffer no wrong"
When a child is born, along with him are born a thousand desires in a parent that no scale or device can measure. The joy of parenthood and the emotional jubilance, which can't be expressed in words, but can only be seen through their eyes; while the dreams for a blissful life have just got started. A child changes the ambiance of the home with its innocent squeals & cackles and playfulness. While the grandfather finds a new purpose of life in him, with a reason to feel the surge of energy within; the grandmother once again gets to relive her motherhood, with all the affection & endearment she can now bestow on her grandchild. In short, life takes a 360 degree turn and it only gets better with the little angel in home. No wonder why we have a saying:
"बच्चे भगवान का रूप होते हैं"
But when the same child's innocence is crushed by the hands of some disgusted souls in order to quench their lust, and who don't hesitate, even for a second, to bring insufferable pain to a child who isn't even aware of the term pain; everything's shatters. It is not just the child who suffers/dies, but the parent as well, witnessing a thousand deaths. The pain is not only inflicted on the child, that unbearable pain is caused to the parents as well, by manifolds. And then we begin to ask such questions: has humanity died/ is there no God/ why my child/ why a child/ what was his/her fault. The questions or thoughts are in myriads but there can't be a single word or solution that could sooth the wounds of a parents' heart.
Since the beginning of 2018, the child rape cases are in headlines in frequent basis where the victims are not just raped, but traumatized with absolute brutality, their private parts mutilated. In some cases their bones are found fractured, while in some cases they are strangled or throttled till the oxygen is cut off from the brain. In one such case, a bare three month child was raped, murdered, it's body thrown in a trash box; who did that, well a family relative. Can you believe that, "3 month", an infant.
In addition, we really need to be vigilant of our surroundings, where we need to trust and distrust every individual simultaneously; I know this doesn't seems good, but that's for our children. Also, we need to be more interactive with the children; educate & caution them of possible situations and how they can be avoided, for instance:
- Maintain communication with your child so that he/she never has to hesitate to share anything going in his/her mind.
- Create or work out some code words and/or sign language between the parents and the child.
- Keep in track the child's routine and behavior attributes.
The above para may look a bit weird, but there's a reason behind it, consider the following:
A first glance at the images will exhibit the awareness and activism of the celebrities, they being the real icons who are concerned about the worsening position of women and are leading the way so that justice is delivered soon. The above images are in reference to the Kathua Case; that shook the nation when an 8 year girl from Kathua, was gang raped and strangled to death, was found in a temple. Our heart burned with rage the moment we learned about the atrocities the innocent child went through. We as a nation joined hands and gathered marches and other protests. And we are still waiting for justice, and THE TRUTH.
But there are some derivations that give some otherwise points to notice, when we look at the placards:
But there are some derivations that give some otherwise points to notice, when we look at the placards:
- Flagging Hindustan/Bharat/India as a country where rape is common.
- Mentioning of 'Temple'.
- The main stress on a religion by using the term: ''Devi' - Sthan.
Media too acted in a most rapid manner by keeping us updated (still updating) and at times arriving at conclusions, even before the arrival of verdict (yet to come), and hence few more derivations:
- Name of the rape victim.
- Religion of the victim and the convict highlighted.
- All round communalization of the case and the place of crime (in the most shameful way it could have been done, it was done)
And this was the moment when the whole idea of protest was hijacked, the celebrities spot the trend and decided to cash it by holding placards, they didn't hesitate by expressing their embarrassment of being Indian, and without having complete knowledge of the case, highlighted a religion. Why I say so; it's been 5+ years of the 'Nirbhaya' case, do we know the real name of the girl, we aren't even sure about the real image of the girl; or in any other case, has the girl's name been disclosed (that being against the law). But the Kathua case became special since the deceased child was a Muslim and the convicts (who are demanding CBI inquiry) as well as the place of crime is related to Hinduism.
An ultimate example of Bollywood's hypocrisy:

- According to a Hindi daily, reports indicate no signs of rape with the girl; even the first post-mortem report says so.
- The temple, where the girl was claimed to have been captivated and raped, is situated in a busy road and is crowded with the devotees. It is next to impossible that the girl was kept hostage and not a single person noticed.
- One of the main accused, who is said to have participated in the crime; when a news channel accessed the CCTV footage, showed that the individual wasn't at all present in Kashmir that day, but in Muzaffarnagar.
This and more will come in light and we hope that the child will get justice and the 'real' culprits will be brought to justice. This also might come to our minds as why the case was given a religional angle; the answer again lies in the valley, "The ROHINGYAS"; the sheer intent to gain political mileage by playing communal card, some politicians can stoop to any level. In order to deviate the focus from their illegal living in Kashmir, this all hoax has been created, a reason why the local lawyers called for the protest after the Kathua case came in light, or rather was fabricated and an innocent was sacrificed for the 'cause'.
And if you still think religion was never the point, have a look:
Those who demanded justice for Kathua, were trying to insert the LOVE angle in Ghaziabad case. Can you imagine the depravity of such sick minds, how they mock the agony of a 10 year old.
A reason why EDUCATION, and mind you, right education is the need of the hour, so that such disgusted mindset can be cleansed in the right way.
This is not a communal or hate post, a lot others have been doing it efficiently; nor I claim to put the ultimate truth above, I too await for justice, for not the Kathua victim, for not the Gaziabad victim, but for every child who had to face the barbarity of man, irrespective of region & religion; as GOD never wanted us to be divided on such weak grounds.
Let's be human for a change, let's get rational & unbiased for a change.
