January: To a new dawn; To new HOPES

Greetings, “ While for some, endings bring joy, hopes and promises; some feel an unfillable vacuum. It all depends on our perspective, how do we wanna see the new beginnings ” Quotes or thoughts, they are simply a concise version of many experiences, knowledge, wisdom, beliefs, values, sometimes feelings, and sometimes a blend of all or one or two. We have seen many personalities sharing their 'piece of thought' with the world in order to inspire or motivate people for a greater good; and at times to warn or caution them from the hazards of social evils that could lead men towards their own destruction. I too, have been sharing/posting quotes on my social   profiles , in order to inspire or motivate, sometimes to provoke a thought, and sometimes to add a perspective. Yes, quotes do help in gaining and making perspective to shape our thought process, for better. And the above stated quote that I scribed on the occasion of new-year, indeed adds a perspective, an outlook...

“ A day to rejuvenate; an evening for prayers & carols, and a night of fulfillment of aspirations ” Greetings, Long ago, nearly two millennium, there was born a boy in a carpenter family who was prophesied to become a legend, a divine entity. And he even sacrificed himself for his values, without any struggle or word, or any remorse since he knew; his sacrifice will reap a new approach. With his c...

Greetings, “Man is a social animal”, we all have read or heard this old saying countless times in our lives, and found it relevant too. Since inception, man has realized the significance of life and sociality and hence he blended the essence of both and came out with the concept of ‘festivals’. The very basic idea of celebrating festivals was to keep the family and societal bonds intact; but there was also a bigger picture involved, to celebrate them in order to pay tribute to our surroundings, i.e. nature and the astronomical events, for instance Chhath, Makar Sankranti, Baisakhi and so on, to thank for the rewards of life and other sources that we receive from them. {Image: Utsavpedia} Rangoli making is an integral part of many festivals, bringing the women of  the house/society together And then there were the Gods themselves, who in times of adversities and darkness, redeemed this world to a new dawn. In honor of their incarnations, their unprecedented works, and t...
